Description

CONTACT Grace Rosa, Logistics Manager, 732 532-5954. This is a market survey to locate a source for the acquisition, repair, testing, and delivery of out of warranty tactical computers and components. Some items are pure commercial off the shelf and some are ruggedized. They are currently fielded worldwide to the Army and other Department of Defense -DOD- agencies. Detailed technical data for this equipment is not available from the Government. Examples of the types of tactical computer components req uiring repairs would be power supplies, keyboards, cables, disk drive units, switches, printers, circuit card assemblies, displays, laptops, desktops, and computer units. Some vendors of the tactical computers are General Dynamics (GD), Sun Microsystems, D ell, Panasonic, Cisco, Tadpole, Hewlett Packard (HP), Miltope, and Samsung.
