- Solicitation for the possible standardization of Blood Pressure Cuffs for TRICARE Northwest Region. These products include but are not limited to a complete product line of Blood Pressure Cuffs. Those companies interested in a possible Regional Inc entive Agreement (discounted DAPA pricing based on volume) with TRICARE Northwest must respond to the following: Clinical Criteria 1. Blood pressure cuff application requires minimal training. 2. The cuff can be easily removed from its packaging. 3. The cuff is not irritating/damaging to the skin. 4. Cuffs have markings for proper placement over artery. 5. Cuffs can be easily cleaned. Technical Criteria 1. Do your blood pressure cuffs meet American Heart Association standards? Please explain. 2. Do your cuffs meet AAMI standards for durability? Please describe. 3. Does your company manufacture or distribute blood pressure cuffs? 4. What brand(s) of blood pressure cuffs does your company manufacture and/or distribute? 5. How are your cuffs packaged? 6. Can your cuffs be used with any manufacturers equipment? (i.e., adaptors are available to allow connect to variety of blood pressure devices) 7. Are your cuffs latex free and hypoallergenic? 8. List the sizes of blood pressure cuffs (i.e., adult, pediatric, neonatal and bariatric) your company manufacturers or distributes. 9. Are the cuffs from your company indexed on both sides for comfort and accurate fit? 10. Are cuffs available with single, double tubes and/or manual bulb tube system 11. Does your company have a 1-800 # for customer questions and product representatives for each account? 12. Does your company provide educational programs and clinical support? Describe material available and type of clinical support (brochures, video tapes, interactive access to web or other). Will product in-service and education be available upon request after product implementation throughout the length of a possible agreement? 13. Does your company have a Distribution agreement with Cardinal Healthcare? 14. Does your company currently possess, or is in the process of obtaining, a Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA) with Defense Supply Center, Philadelphia? 15. Does your company have the ability to service to the entire TRICARE Northwest Region (WA and Alaska)? Please provide your companys distribution network. 16. Does your company have a return goods policy and if so, please describe. 17. Provide a history of back orders and/or recalls for this product group with dates, duration, cause, and how information was communicated to the customer, interim measures and final resolution. 18.
