- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command Conventional Strike Weapons Program Office (PMA-201) intends to release an RFP for the procurement of Fuel Pylon Unit (FPU)-8/A, 330 Gallon External Fuel Tanks (EFT) under Solicitation N00019-06-R-0026 on a competitive basis within 30 days. Offerors will be required to be qualified in accordance with the First Article Test provided in the 330 Gallon EFT Specification, Drawing Change 74A551000 External Fuel Tank, Statement of Work, Other Drawing Package Attachment A. NOTE: A full and open competition will be conducted using the BEST VALUE Source Selection approach to select the most advantageous offer based on both non-price factors as well as price factor. The Government anticipates evaluating the offers based on technical, price related factors, past performance and Small Business Subcontracting. The Government anticipates award in August 2006 for a firm fixed price contract with a base year and two (02) option years. The estimated contract value, including option years, is valued to be $30,000,000. The Government shall require any potential offeror to have an approved First Article completed fifteen (15) months after contract award. The RFP may be obtained at the following website: http://www.navair.navy.mil under ?Business Opportunities? under N00019-06-R-0026. The Government will only release the solicitation/RFP, including any subsequent amendments, over the Internet. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted, no written requests will be accepted and no hard copies will be mailed. Any amendment issued will be posted to the same website. After the solicitation release, vendors should regularly access the website to ensure they have all amendments. Failure to obtain any posted amendments and to respond to each of them prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render your offer nonresponsive. All proposals will be due by 3PM Eastern Standard Time on 19 June 2006. Technical Data Package. This solicitation incorporates a Government Techncial Data package that cannot be posted to the NAVAIR website due to export restrictions. The Technical Data Package will not be available until after release of the solicitation. This request must include the potential offerors company name, mailing address, point of contact, phone number and cage code.
