Description
Contracting Office Address Department of the Navy, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, NAVFAC Washington, 1314 Harwood Street Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC, 20374-5018 Description DESC: Furnish all equipment, labor, management, materials, supervision, tools and transportation necessary to perform regional armed and unarmed security guard services in accordance with the performance work statement (PWS) throughout NAVFAC Washington?s Area Of Responsibility (AOR). This acquisition will be solicited pursuant to FAR 19.805 Competitive 8a Procedures and FAR 15 Negotiation Procedures. This solicitation is paperless and copies will be made available at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil on or about May 8, 2006. Award will be a combination firm-fixed price + IDQ contract with a base period of 12-months and (4) 1 year options (approximately 60 months total performance). NOTE: All contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive award from a DOD Agency. Contractors may access the site at http://www.ccr.gov to register and/or obtain information about the registration process. Additionally, solicitation Representation and Certifications are no longer provided within the solicitation and must be submitted on-line through On-Line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). ORCA is a web-based system that centralizes and standardizes the collection, storage and viewing of the Representations and Certifications required by the Federal Acquisition Regulations. Potential offerors are highly encouraged to complete the on-line provisions within the Representations and Certifications at the earliest, at https://orca.bpn.gov. This is a required FAR change. The government will not provide copies of the solicitation. You are required to monitor www.esol.navfac.navy.mil, by solicitation number, and download a copy. The solicitation will be available on or about May 8, 2006.
