- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial The Contracting Office at the Naval Hospital in Pensacola,FL, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed priced BPA-type contract. The period of performance is 1 April 2006 -30 September 2006. The contractor shall provide Registered Nurses with one designated as the lead to effectively staff the Nurse Call Center (specific hours are identified below). The Commanding Officer will not approve more than eight Registered Nurses at anytime to full this requirement. The Nurse Call Center hours of operation are 0600 to 2000, Monday through Friday and 0700 to 1200 on Saturday and Sunday. Services are not required on Federal Holidays. Each shift will normally be 8.5 hours to include a 30 minutes uncompensated lunch break. The contractors will ensure a minimum of (5) nurses are onboard from 0600 to 2000, Monday through Friday and a minimum of two (2) nurses are on board from 0700 to 1200 on Saturday and Sunday. Historically, ! Monday through Friday the Nurse Call Center has functioned with (3) nurses from 0600-1000, (5) nurses from 1000-1700 and (3) nurses from 1700-2000. The contractor may use flexible schedules to ensure adequate coverage. At no time will the contract nurse exceed 80hrs in a two week period.
