Description

The Department of Defense (DoD), Army Contracting Agency, Information Technology, E-Commerce, and Commercial Contracting Center (ITEC4) announce a Defense Travel System (DTS) Commercial Travel Office (CTO) service contract opportunity that is availab le to any interested party on a full and open basis. This office anticipates releasing and posting the Request for Proposal (RFP), W91QUZ-04-R-0014, in August 2004, on the United States Department of Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) web site at: https: //acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. A draft RFP will not be released. This requirement includes DoD sites worldwide. The successful awardees will provide commercial travel management and related additional services to support authorized DoD travelers worldwid e. These services will be provided using both traditional methods and automated methods using the DTS web portal. The government intends to award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Multiple Award Task Order contracts, with firm fixed price CLINs on a point of sale and management fee basis. Additional optional travel services (e.g., contractor support an d Leisure In Conjunction With Official Travel (LICWO) will also be priced on a firm fixed price basis. The period of performance is anticipated to be a two-year base period with three one-year option periods. Applicable NAICS code is 561510. Contracts w ill be awarded to the offerors whose proposals represent the best value to the Government in accordance with the RFP evaluation criteria.
