- The Directorate of Contracting (DOC), Fort Campbell, KY, has a requirement for the renewal of twenty (20) existing licenses of SOCET GXP imagery software to include the reinstatement of five (5) licenses. SOCET GXP from BAE Systems is required to en sure commonality and compatibility of software programs between the requiring activity and supported units. SOCET GXP allows the Imagery Analyst to graphically visualize imagery and terrain data with a map display background. It also allow the user to ma p Digital Terrain and Elevation Data (DTED) and Controlled Image Base (CIB) data directly to the National and Tactical Imagery, providing end users with accurate geocoordinates and detailed elevation data. SOCET GXP is the only software accredited for us e with current network baselines. SOCET GXP ingests data from a wide range of government and commercial sensors and is also scaleable, which allows the analyst to customize the functionality available within the software to current requirements, and provi des the flexibility to add on more advanced capabilities as required. The procurement will be conducted on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source an d No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 511210. Small business size standard is $23 million. This sole source procurement is under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Other Than Ful l and Open Competition. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued, however; any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 10 days from th e date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See numbered Note 22. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the negotiation of a sole source contract wit h BAE Systems, National Security Solutions.
