- This solicitation is for a Firm Fixed Price Construction of the Design-build for Force Protection Improvements at Camp Al Asad, Iraq. Project includes construction of a new I.D. issue Building, installation of pop-up bollards, automatic sliding gate s, guard towers, new inspection lanes w/ turn around and infrastructure, High intensity lights, Environmental control units, Loudspeakers and TV cameras. Project also includes New Perimeter Fence, lighting, Ground base alert system, and associated infrast ructure to support electronic surveillance devices. The estimated cost of this project is estimated to be in the range of $5,000,000 - $10,000,000. The period of performance is 270 days. The estimated solicitation date of this contract is on or about 2 8 July 2006. Expressing interest in any one of them will cause you to be notified when the solicitation documents are released for all three of the solicitations. Funds are not currently available for this requirement. This project will be issued Subject to Availability of Funding.
