- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fedbizopps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopses and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure 2 Hybrid Log Periodic Antenna and 2 Manual Mast, 1.7m max height. This requirement is a 100 % small business set aside. The specifications for the items are a follows: Antenna - Mechanical Specification: Width: 60in. (153 cm) Maximum, Depth: 36in. (92 cm) Maximum, Weight: 9.5 kg. Maximum, Electrical Specifications: Antenna Type: Log Periodic, Frequency Range: 25MHz to 150 MHz (Minimum), Vertical Polarization Gain:! 1.25dBi minimum between 28MHz-77 MHz and 104MHz-150MHz, Horizontal Polarization Gain: 1.25dBi minimum between 66 MHz to 150MHz, VSWR: 2.5:1 typical, 5.8:1 maximum, Polarization: Linear, Power Handling: 3500-Watts minimum, Feed point Impedance: 50 ohms normal Environmental Specifications: Ambient Temperature Limits: Operating: 0 degrees to + 40 degrees Celsius minimum Storage: -10 degrees to + 50 degrees Celsius minimum Humidity: Up to 95% non- condensing Mast: Manual Vertical Mast: Will provide manual control of the height, tilt and polarization. Should extend from 97.5 cm to 167.5 cm and support antennas up to 18 kg. Warranty: 1-year minimum The North American Industry Classification System Code is 334515. The order shall be a firm fixed price. FOB destination, Dahlgren, VA shall apply. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis; quotes are being requested and a written quotation will not be issued. The quote number is N00178-06-Q-3029 and is a request for quote.! Quote is due 23 May 2006, no later than 2:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) to: Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Building 183, First Floor, Room 106, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100 and anticipated award date by 2 June 2006. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD web site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments. Firms must be registered in CCR. Vendors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment office may not make payments unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the contractor?s EFT information contained in CCR database. The closing date is COB 23 May 2006. Anticipated award date is 2 June 2006.
