Description

Solicitation reissued on April 19, 2006 with a new closing date of May 19, 2006. __________________________________________________________________ This acquisition includes the purchase of part numbered items where Lytron, Inc. cage code 11245 is the approved source, and/or have supplied the item in the past. Offerors should be aware that there is a potential for split awards. The intent is to award an indefinite delivery type contract for a one year base and four option years. Solicitation and NSNs will be available for download on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on its issue date. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. For questions on the content of the solicitation contact the primary point of contact. See Note 12 & 26. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of February 8, 2006. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 4420 & 4820. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
