Description

The U.S. Department of Labor Women's Bureau seeks a contractor to plan a program and provide career exploration and job development skills for 100 incarcerated women at the Southeast State Correctional Facility in Windsor, Vermont and the Dale Women's Facility, in Waterbury, Vermont; the recruitment of twenty volunteer mentors to serve as role models for the women; and employment support services post-release including child care and housing referrals. The contract length will be one year and the cost will be $30,000 payable upon receipt of the deliverables outlined in the attached Statement of Work. The Women?s Bureau has received a proposal from an organization that has experience counseling and providing job training to incarcerated women in Vermont. The Bureau plans to sole source the project to Northern New England Tradeswomen. The NAICS code for this requirement is 611519.
