Description

This is a Stewardship project. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to enter into a contract for the Huckleberry Stewardship project to perform services to achieve land management goals for public lands that meet local and rural community needs. The Huckleberry Stewardship Project is located in non WUI lands bordering the Spokane Indian Reservation of the BLM Spokane District, Washington. The project will be a 10 year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract. Items of work include: 1,900 acres of timber harvest (all species), 200 acres of pre-commercial thinning, 900 acres of mechanical brush treatment (masticate), 900 acres of tree planting and herbicide spot spraying 200,000 trees. This solicitation will be posted electronically. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is July 18, 2006. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns.
