Description: Restoration of Chequamegon Point Light Tower on west end of Long Island, Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, Ashland County, Wisconsin. Foundation installation and placement of tower: Lift metal light tower, install new concrete footings and foundation with J-bolts, then lower and attach to light tower base. This is an ANNOUNCEMENT of the project only. The actual REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS is expected to be posted on or before 5/25/06 and will contain all specifications and drawings required to bid the job.
