Description: The National Data Buoy Center intends to negotiate only with Teledyne RD Instruments, Inc. of San Diego, CA. for the purchase of 11 each Deep Water Doppler Current Profilers. The profilers have an operating depth of 400 meters, contain 4 transducers at 90 degrees azimuth, and are constructed of a single pressure vessel that includes all hardware, transducers, batteries, and electronics.
