Description

It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine (NLM), to negotiate on a sole source basis with Lee Technologies for continuation of services for the repair and maintenance of the UPS (uninterrupted power supply) and associated cooling system. Services on the UPS and associated cooling system is essential to CIT being able to provide services during power losses, and ensures that those services will continue to run, and that data will not be lost. Many highly critical Departmental and IC?s programs both administrative and research oriented, rely on CIT?s ability to keep the multitude of systems up and running on a 24x7 schedule. This notice of intent is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ), nor is an RFQ available, however, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the NLM. Firms interested in responding to this notice must be able to provide professional service as stated above. Responses should sufficiently demonstrate the firm's ability to meet the government's requirements. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
