Description
The FAA New England Region has a new construction effort to furnish all labor, material (except FAA furnished), supplies, and equipment for the construction and installation of a Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) and Runway End Identifier Lights (REILS) to serve Runway 32 at Boston's Logan International Airport. Work shall include but is not limited to: Layout, Site Preparation, Excavation, Cast in-place reinforced concrete foundations, Concrete manhole installations, Electrical power service work, Underground Electrical conduit/duct bank installation, Electrical cable installation, Installation of FAA furnished fiber-optic cable, Electrical enclosure installation, Electrical grounding, Equipment assembly, Associated site work and cleanup. The performance period is forty-five (45) calendar days. This project is a 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236210 with a size standard of $31M. ***** THERE WILL BE AN INCENTIVE PAYMENT IN THE EVENT CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETED AHEAD OF THE 45 DAY PERFORMANCE PERIOD. THE INCENTIVE PAYMENT WILL BE $1,000 PER DAY AND SHALL NOT EXCEED $5,000.***** The Request for Offer, including Specifications, will be available via e-mail upon issuance. Contract drawings will be mailed via USPS. The price range is $100,000 to $250,000. Performance and Payment bonds are required.
