- The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) is requesting for quotes (RFQ), on behalf of the United States Army Human Resources Command (HRC) located at 200 Stovall Street, Alexandria, VA 22332-0400, to obtain a local lodging and a conference facilit y in the DC-VA-MD area for hosting the agencys annual HRC Leader Teambuilding Off-site from 14 AUG 06 through 17 AUG 06. The resulting contract from this effort will be a firm-fixed price contract including one contract line item number (CLIN) for the HR C off-site conference. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation (Solicitation Nu mber: W74V8H-06-Q-0002); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This advertisement is open to potential qualified sources. The desired facility and accommodations are described below: 1. Location within a 120-mile radius of 200 Stovall Street, Alexandria, VA 22332-0400. 2. Availability of 120 guest rooms to accommodate 120 Department of Army Military and Civilian Personnel during 14 AUG 06 through 17 AUG 06. Check-in would be on 14 AUG and check-out would be on 17 AUG (a three-night stay). Note: The number of actual oc cupants may not be determined until closer to the period of performance. 3. Availability of one conference space to accommodate 120 Department of Army Military and Civilian Personnel during 14 AUG 06 through 17 AUG 06. The conference space should be divided into three breakout rooms. The setup should be U-shaped for the bre ak-out rooms and classroom style for the general sessions. 4. Schedule: Day 1: General session, luncheon, and icebreaker; Day 2: Workgroups and dinner for the group w/ entertainment; Day 3: Workgroups followed by general session and closing. Special Note: The length of the conference will be from 08:00am to 5: 00pm. 5. Price including parking for at least 100 spaces. 6. Airport transportation to and from the hotel's closest airport in order to accomodate out-of-state personnel 7. Basic Audio Equipment Available: Breakout rooms should include a projector, screen, and butcher block for notes. A microphone would be needed for the larger general session and not the breakout rooms. Special Note: The resulting contract will not include food and beverages. Government personnel will be responsible for their food and beverages via per diem. The arrangements for food (i.e. dinner and luncheon) will be coordinated by the customer, HRC. Applicable Terms and Conditions. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circulars 2001-27.
