- Description
- AFMETCAL Det 1 intends to award a firm fixed price Requirements commercial contract with a five year ordering period. The requirement is for the purchase of a Synthesized Signal Generator (SSG). The proposed item must meet the requirements of AFMETCAL Purchase Description 1E06-0608-09A-RF, Revision D, dated 10 January 2006. There is no guarantee that any orders will be issued, however we anticipate issuing orders for a total quantity of 85 each as follows: 24 each in FY 06, 24 each in FY 07 and 37 each in FY 08. Contingent upon the availability of funds some of the anticipated quantity may be ordered in FY 09 and FY10 or may not be ordered at all. Offerors will be required to provide pricing based on quantity ranges of 1-106. Quantity will not exceed 106 in the 5 year ordering period. Data including operation, maintenance, calibration manuals and a minimum 3-yr extended warranty is required with each unit. These units will be direct shipped to our PMELs. Delivery shall be FOB destination. The first unit ordered will be considered a first production unit. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued approximately 31 May 06 with a due date of 22 June 06. The solicitation package including purchase description, warranty description and data requirements will be available for viewing and downloading at the Fedbizopps site.
