Description
MSgt Heath, D, Contracting Officer. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes a combined solicitation/synopsis any interested parties can Email GySgt White, leroy.white@usmc.mil for the Request For Quote. This action is being procured on an unrestricted basis. This solicitation contains (1) CLIN with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price Requirements Contract with a period of performance of one year with a one-year option period. The following service is required for the government owned 25 Ton Crane Motor P/N 25EN Engine NSN: 9915-01-AA0-25EN. CLIN 0001: (10) ten minimum per year, maximum (30) Motors per year. CLIN 0002: Option year for CLIN 0001. Offerors are required to reconfigure item to Marine Corps specifications as provided in the SOW. . All offerors must request a SOW/Parts List from the Contracting Specialist. Contractor will be responsible for shipping, loading, and unloading of all units. All warranty work will be started within 24 hours of notification. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar commercial product, provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers and determine the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable to the Government: Price, Technical Acceptance, Past Performance and Small Business Concern. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. Written, facsimile, or emailed quotes and the above required information must be received at this office on or before 01 June 2006, at 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
