(End of Update, 18 Jan 06) RFP ISSUANCE for SOLICITATION FA8601-06-R-0020 (13 January 2006) - A Request for Proposal (RFP) along with attachments is posted at www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil. All interested offerors must download documents from this website. No hard copies will be available. This is a competitive acquisition for all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, materials, vehicles, and administration for the performance of Aircraft Fleet Service at Wright-Patterson AFB OH. A Firm Fixed Price contract for one base period (7 months) and four one-year options is anticipated. This acquisition is being competed through FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. All potential sources capable of providing these services may submit a proposal. Due date for proposals is 2:00 p.m. (EST) on Friday, 27 January 2006. Proposals may be handcarried or mailed overnight to the address indicated in the RFP. Proposals that are faxed or emailed will NOT be accepted. A site visit will be held on Thursday, 19 January 2006, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. (EST) for the purpose of visiting the areas to be utilized by the contractor during contractor performance. Potential sources planning to attend the site visit must provide information to the Government point of contact identified in the solicitation not later than 12:00 NOON (EST) Wednesday, 18 January 2006. Additional information on the site visit is provided on the last page of the RFP package. Forms and publications identified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) are accessible at: http://www.e-publishing.af.mil Potential offerors should review all attachments to this announcement in order to obtain all required information to submit a competitive proposal. Potential offerors should also register at www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil to obtain an email notification when and if changes to this announcement or the RFP are made. Attachments include: 1) RFP, 2) Performance Work Statement, 3) Past Performance Questionnaire, 3) Wage Determination, 4) Pricing Structure - Fill In Document for Submitting Price Data, and 5) Form 1806 which is related to technical evaluation factor, Vehicles and Equipment, Item 5. Important Note Regarding Appendix 5 to the PWS: Appendix 5 presently has "draft" requirements. Final requirements will be provided not later than 19 Jan 06. Although this appendix may change, the requirements for the technical factor, Vehicles and Equipment, Item 5, are not expected to change. Offerors should use the technical fator for the LST to build their proposal.
