- Description
- The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to negotiate a contract with the following Accrediting Bodies, Mental Health, Allied Health, Nursing, Medical and Pharmacy to develop and include in their education program guidelines standards for health provider preparedness and professional competencies, consistent with the National Response Plan, Interim National Preparedness Goal, and Target Capabilities List and Measures in their accreditation standards. This will assist HRSA in promoting consistency, collaboration and coordination in preparedness education across all healthcare disciplines. These accrediting bodies are deemed to be the only responsible sources capable of accomplishing the required work under the authority in 41 U. S. C 253 (c) (1) as set forth in FAR 6.302-1 (a), Limited competition after exclusion of sources. Interested parties may, in writing, identify their interest and capabilities to respond to this requirement within 30 days from the date of publication of this notice. Reference HRSA 06-N234-5514. This is not a solicitation. A copy of the Justification for Other Than Full and Open competition is on file. (See Note 22)
