Description

Furnish all plant, labor, equipment and materials and perform all work for removing existing ballast, metal flashing and edging, single-ply EPDM membrane, gutters and downspouts, and for installing a recovery board, new single-ply EPDM membrane, metal flashing and edging, gutters and downspouts on a roof having a surface area of approximately 6,600 square feet at the Corporation Maintenance Building located in Massena, New York. The work also includes removing and replacing damaged/deteriorated roof decking and insulation, as required. Work may also include removing and replacing all insulation and wood nailers. A firm, fixed priced purchase order shall be awarded on or about July 12, 2006 with the work to be completed by September 15, 2006. The cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. There is a $50.00 US funds non-refundable fee for project specifications and drawings. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) package will be released approximately May 31, 2006 with a response date of July 6, 2006. Mail your request for the RFQ package along with the above fee to the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation, Attn: Contracting Office, PO Box 520, 180 Andrews Street, Massena, New York 13662. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award. Please register at www.ccr.gov. This project is issued in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to both small and large businesses. NAICS code 238160; Size standard $12.0M. The Department of Transportation (DOT) offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts.
