Description

NON-PERSONAL SERVICES to furnish all labor, tools, parts nateruaksm test equipment, transportation, technical support, freight, shipping, training, and incidentals necessary and facilities when not on base to develop and install a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) turnkey system and associated components, including on-site installation, warranty maintenance, and training to the Software Control Center personnel (SCC) in the 76 SMXG/MXDWC located at Tinker AFB, OK. The period of performance will commence on 01 July 2006 and complete on 30 Nov 2006. A Firm-Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. The estimated award date is no later than 30 June 2006. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov and contractor shall log on to http://www.bpn.gov/orca/ to activate the ORCA profile.. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
