Description

The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland intends to procure additional 76 Main Generator Control Units (GCUs) and 16 Auxiliary Power Generator (APU) GCUs from DME Corporation, Orlando FL. The Main GCU and APU GCU are part of the electrical power generating system from the CH-46E helicopter. Under a competitive small business set-aside competition, DME was previously awarded contract N00019-00-C-0172 for the procurement of GCUs and APU GCUs. A subsequent follow-on contract (N00019-04-C-0107) was awarded to DME for the procurement of additional GCUs and APU GCUs. to support the CH-46 fleet. This current requirement for the additional units will result in award of a modification under N0019-04-C-0107. DME is the sole-designer, developer, and manufacturer of the GCU and APU GCU for the CH-46. This Synopsis is for informational purposes only. Note 22 Applies.
