- EXCEPT AS MODIFIED OR AMPLIFIED IN RFP, THIS ITEM CONTAINS CLASS "C" EXPLOSIVES. DFAR CLAUSE 252.223-7002, SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR AMMUNITION AND EXPLOSIVES (MAY 1994) APPLIES. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS EXPLOSIVE NAVAL ORDNANCE ITEMS, WHICH REQUIRE SPECIAL SECURITY, SAFETY AND TRANSPORTATION CLAUSES. THE CLAUSES MAY BE FOUND IN SECTION "I". CODE 0242.05 NOTE: PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE PROVIDED BY THE NAVY. ACQUISITION IS RESTRICTED TO BREEZE-EASTERN, THE ONLY APPROVED SOURCE OF SUPPLY." THE GOVERNMENT TDP IS NOT COMPLETE AND IS ONLY THE TOP DRAWING. THIS ITEM IS AN EXPLOSIVE DEVICE. QUANTITY ? 303 EACH ITEM DESCRIPTION: NSN: 1377-01-211-7212, MJ20 THRUSTER, CARTRIDGE ACTUATED, USED TO CUT CARGO HOOK CABLES IN EMERGENCIES. A SAFETY SURVEY WILL BE REQUIRED. EXPLOSIVE WEIGHT - .00038 LBS EXPLOSIVE CLASS ? 1.4 PRODUCTION LOT TESTING, CONTRACT DATA REQUIREMENT LIST AND FOB ORIGIN APPLY. A LIMITED DRAWING PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING ON THE WEB.
