Description
The Bureau of Prisons is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community based outpatient substance abuse treatment services in Martinsburg, West Virginia for male and female Federal offenders (inmates) held under the authority of various United States Statutes. Performance period under this contract will be for a one year base period from October 1, 2006 to September 30, 2007. The services required for this contract include: Base Year: Estimated Number of Inmates 7: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 7 inmates = 7 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 24 units per inmate for 7 inmates = 168 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 24 units per inmate for 7 inmates = 168 units; Mental Health Intake Assessments and Report 1 per inmate for 3 inmates = 3 reports; Medication Monitoring 1 unit per inmate for 3 inmates = 3 units; Individual Counseling Sessions 24 units per inmate for 3 inmates = 72 units; The mental health services may be provided by the contractor or subcontracted out to another contractor. All facilities must be licensed by: Office of Health Facility Licensure and Certification 350 Capitol Street, Rm. 206 Charleston, WV 25301 Phone: 304-558-0050 Individuals providing counseling services must have a valid license/certification that is recognized by the state of West Virginia. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated October 2005. The solicitation will be available on or after May 30, 2006 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration’s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date is on or about June 28, 2006. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by this Agency.
