Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3ZT906080A100; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-07 and Defense DCN 20060321. This acquisition will be full and open competition; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 325998. The business size standard is 500 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 4910. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 2819. This request for quotation consists of the following dual station tire inflator with tire cage: Item 0001: Automatic tire inflator: 2 each, Automatic Tire Inflator; shall automatically inflate tires to required pressure set by operator; will include a mode selector switch allowing operator to set required pressure for one or two tires; will periodically check each tire for pressure; will have a light labeled "Tire filling" which illuminates while tires are filling and a light labeled "Tire full" when preset pressure is reached; will automatically discontinue nitrogen source and sound an audible alarm when preset pressure is reached; will have a light labeled "Tire fail" which will illuminate when tire does not reach preset pressure within thirty minutes; will automatically discontinue nitrogen source and sound an audible alarm when tire does not reach preset pressure within thirty minutes. Dual station tire inflation safety cage should be solid steel walled, wood lined, 64"W X 64"D X 64" H, to accommodate tires up to 60" in diameter and 28" in width, shall include trolley within cage to assist operator in positioning tires. External sources required: Power source: 115/230 VAC, 1 PH, 50/60 Hz, Compressed N2 400 PSIG, 20 CFM; Range and Accuracy: Set points: 10-350 PSIG, Set point accuracy: +/- 3 PSIG; Dimensions: Width: 24 inches, Depth: 13-1/2 inches, Height: 24 inches; Item 0002: Shipping cost for two inflators and two cages to Travis AFB, CA: 1 each Shipping cost for two inflators and two cages to Travis AFB, CA; The delivery location is Travis AFB, California. Ensure you include the delivery time for project completion. Upon award the contractor will be required to coordinate delivery with the customer.
