Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued separately. The solicitation number is FA5000-06-T-0055. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated FAR provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001. The DFARS provisions and clauses are those in effect to DCN 20060412. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to deliver a Kidde or equal T-500 Multi Propane trainer add on. (For flash over training.) This includes The T500Multi Structural Simulator as the complete gas fueled live fire training system. This also is to include the rollover option for the T500, and the smoke option, T500 Series Trainer, and shipping to Elmendorf AFB, AK. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Offers will be evaluated based on technically acceptable, low price. Each offeror shall comply with the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Commercial Items by going to http://orca.bpn.gov.
