Description

The Contractor shall provide the services of transporting bulk petroleum products by tank trucks from Marifu Refinery to various U.S. Army installations in Hiroshima Pref. Type of trucks will be 4KL and 14KL capacity tank trucks. The trucks shall have pumps with two inches diameter of a 13 meters length hose, and a pistol type nozzle. Joint Type: Male = Cam-lock, two inches diameter. Female = 2.5 inches, 5 threads.The anticipated performance start date is 1 Oct 06. Offerors shall propose a transportation rate that includes but is not limited to tolls, licenses, costs of overtime, holiday work, or for operations during stormy and or inclement weather. Award will be made to the offeror whose offer represents the best value to the U.S. Government considering the evaluation factors stated in the solicitation. NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFER MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM THE SERVICE IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN.
