Description

This solicitation is a Construction Manager at Risk full and open competition. The scope of services under this proposed contract includes preconstruction services with an option for the Division Headquarters construction. The project consists of c onstructing a primary facility that incorporates the following spaces: administration; conference rooms; storage areas; break room; Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility SCIF; Network Operations Center NOC; Joint Operation Center JOC; briefing room ; lobby; and utility rooms. The total space requirement for the primary facility is in excess of 125,000 SF. Supporting facilities include site utilities; electric service; sanitary sewer; security lighting; fire protection and alarm system; paving, walk s, curbs, and gutters; parking and site improvements; storm drainage; and information systems. The Contractor will be competitively chosen using a Best Value Source Selection procedure. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $25,000,000 and $75,000,000. Solicitation documents will be posted on Federal Technical Data Solutions or FedTeDS. FedTeDS is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safe guard acquisition-related information. When solicitation documents have been issued and posted to FedTeDs, synopsis or pre-solicitation notice will be amended and a link provided to access FedTeDS in note 2 below. Once you open the solicitation announcement on Fed Biz Opps, there will be a link provided to the solicitation on FedTeDS. Click on the link. 3.
