Description

This is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside (Numbered Note 29). Description of Work: Under a previous contract, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) National Training Center (NTC) obtained the services of an interpretive Design Firm to develop detailed designs and specifications of BLM history exhibits for installation at the NTC. The contractor that is awarded this contract shall provide interpretive development, display fabrication, and display installation services to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), National Training Center (NTC) as detailed in the Statement of Work included with the solicitation. Location: The interpretive displays will be created for and installed at the U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Land Management National Training Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Solicitation will be issued on approximately May 19, 2006 and responses will be due no later than July 05, 2006. The first contract award is anticipated to be made in July 2006, with work commencing August 2006. Completion of performance for each award is estimated to not exceed 8 months from the time of award. The total performance period for all of the awards resulting from this solicitation is 18 months. Award obligations will be made as funded, with each obligation not to exceed 12 months. Funding will be provided with each award obligation. The government anticipates ordering one or more line items over the next 18 months as a result of this solicitation. Contractors submit a quotation on all line items, although the resulting award(s) might not be for all line items. The government makes no guarantee as to the number of line items that may be awarded as the result of this solicitation. It is anticipated that the estimated cost of the aggregated total of the awards resulting from this solicitation is between $2500 and $100,000 as funding becomes available. There will be multiple awards over the next 18 months to the one successful contractor as the result of this solicitation issued for the entire project. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Award will be made as a best value procurement using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of 48CFR13.
