Description

Modification to dissolve the 100% small business set aside and release unrestricted, full and open competition. An amendment to the Request for Quote will be issued to extend the closing date to 01 JUN 2006. NUWCDIVNPT has a requirement for on-site services of an interpreter/Transliterator (sign language) to facilitate communications and provide equal access to information for deaf or hard of hearing individuals or entity requiring the services of a sign language interpreter to communicate. NUWC anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract for 3,000 manhours (estimated) over a three year period of performance. On-site performance at NUWCDIVNPT, Newport, RI is required. Evaluation factors are technical capability, past performance and price. Estimated RFQ release date is 30 MAR 2006. NAICS Code is 561990.
