- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required item under PRN6299506RC0069B. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. FISC Norfolk intends to purchase the following High Voltage Switch(s): 1 each part number T44-386F-25RP: 28kV, 110 kV, BIL, SF, Insulated, Dead-Front, Padmount, front Access, 4 way loadbreak switch. Four (4) three phase, three position (Close, Open, Ground) SF6, Rotary Puffer switches. ?600 Amp continuous and loadbreak. 25kAasym momentary and close into fault rating. 600 Amp Apparatus Bushings ? Elbows provided ? Switch rating per ANSI C37.7.1-1984 and C37.72-1987. Components: Welded ?? steel tank and frame. Factory filled with SF6 gas. Tank painted light gray (ANSI 70). Parking stands for all bushings. 24? minimum bushing height. 12 gauge galvanized steel enclosure with 24? cable compartment, painted green, (Munsell no. 7GY3.29/1.5), Meets ANSI C37.72 & C57.12.28 standards. Five (5) ??-13 NC grounding provisions, one per way plus one per tank. One removable operating handle for line and fixed stainless steel operating handles for each load side way. Padlockable operating mechanism-padlocks not included. 3? diameter circular viewing window to verify Open/Close position. Color coded ?GO/No Go? pressure gauage. 1/4.? Male flare brass Schraeder valve with cap. Four (4) removable 1 ?? diameter lifting provisions on the enclosure to provide balance lift. 300 Series stainless steel and/or brass external fittings and hardware. 300 series stainless steel nameplates and aluminum line diagram.
