- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice as well as FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation, N00104-06-Q-Q330, is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-19and DFARS Change Notice 2004 0101. The associated NAICS code is 334111 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This will be sole source procurement to MaxVision Corporation of Madison, Alabama. The Naval Inventory Control Point-Mechanicsburg has a requirement for the following MaxVision Corp. products; (34) each MaxPac X class (2TB) hard drive data magazine,! (34) ea. MACPAC8228XRA3 Rev A Triple Display Briefcase Workstation, (34) ea. UPS internal for MAXPAC8228XRA, (14) ea. Custom Pelican 1620 Transportable Case for Keyboards, (18) ea. 1620 Transportable Case for Sun V490/V440 hard drives & Sun 3510 hard drives, (18) ea. Custom Pelican 1620 Transportable Case for hard drive data magazines & Sun 3510 hard drives, (6) ea. Pelican 1660 NDS System Shipping Case for small systems & data magazines, (1) lot. Training for MAXPAC8220xRA3, (1) lot. Burn-In Test for MAXPAC, (3) Lots Eng & Design services for the Space & Naval Warfare Center (SPAWAR) C4I Program Office, Naval Inventory Control Point-Phila. 19111, FOB Destination. Delivery shall be no later than 30 days from date of award. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to that responsible offeror proposing the lowest price for the items that have been determined to comply with the requirements of the specifications and solicitation. The proposal must demonstrate an understanding of the requirement and the ability to meet the specifications.
