- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Seeks Leased Office Space Portland, Oregon The United States Government seeks to lease office space in downtown Portland, Oregon. The building must be located within the following delineated area of Portland, Oregon: North: Burnside Street South: Market Street West: Interstate 405 East: The Willamette River The space should yield 18,000 ANSI/BOMA contiguous usable square feet on a single floor and provide 2 reserved parking stalls in the building garage. The proposed lease is for ten (10) years and should be fully serviced. Lease must include a right to cancel after the 5th year with 180 days notice to the Landlord. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than April 1, 2007, since their current lease is expiring. The offered space must be Class A office space in a quality building which meets or is capable of meeting the Governments general and specific requirements including seismic considerations. The location should be in close proximity to security and police services, have good access to transportation, provide a safe working environment, and have a variety of restaurant and service shops within six (6) blocks. The Government will consider sites if there are economic advantages. The Government will factor its analysis of the cost of relocation and tenant improvements into its decision.
