Description

Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Robert C. Weaver Building, Child Development Center Relocation, 451 7th Street, SW, Washington, DC. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded for the services. The estimated cost range for the project is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. This solicitation is set-aside for small businesses. Women-Owned businesses are encouraged to submit a bid and so state that they are women-owned. The NAICS Code is 236220 and the small business size standard is $31,000,000.00. The solicitation issuance date is March 14, 2006; and the solicitation due date is April 13, 2006. GSA is issuing this solicitation electronically and on CD-ROM. You may access the solicitation documents at the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site Home Page: http://www.fbo.gov. However the construction project drawings will be available on CD-ROM only. Potential bidders may pick-up a CD-ROM copy of the construction project drawings, on March 14, 2006 at the General Services Administration, National Capital Region, Regional Office Building, Bid Room, Room 1065, 7th & D Streets, SW, Washington, DC 20407, at a non-refundable cost of $10.00 per copy. Payment should be made by check or money order, payable to the General Services Administration. A receipt will be issued for the payment. In order to be placed on the bidders's list, potential bidders who intend to download the solicitation and purchase a copy of the CD-ROM must inform the point of contacts Patricia Taylor or Delores Peterson in writing by mail, email or fax on 202-708-6838 of the company's name, contact person, address, telephone, email address and fax number. Please reference Procurement Request Number WPJ-06-0368 when requesting the bid documents and drawings. The solicitation number will be issued by an amendment to this notice at a later date.
