TECHNICAL CONTACT: DENNIS SMITH, US FOREST SERVICE (530) 333-5544 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number for the procurement is AG-91U9-S-06-0003 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-09 and through Agriculture Acquisition Circular (AAC) 96-04. This solicitation will be set aside for small business. The NAICS for Boat Dealers is 441222 with a Small Business Administration (SBA) Size Classification of $6.5 million. LINE ITEM 0006 QTY 1 EA: Canvas Sport Cover to cover pilot and co-pilot and cockpit area only. All items quoted must be the exact items listed OR EQUAL. The Contracting Officer will determine if the quoted products are suitable substitutions, making them qualify as an OR EQUAL product. It is, however, the responsibility of the offeror to provide enough documentation to make that determinations without further research. See Clause 452.211-71 in this solicitation. DELIVERY: Shall be delivered to local dealer within the greater Sacramento, CA area. FOB POINT: Destination DELIVERY TIME: 1 to 30 Days ARO PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES: Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. EVALUATION/AWARD: The FAR Clause 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Item applies to this solicitation. Evaluation criteria is: 1) Meets or Exceeds Brand Name Specifications, 2) Past Performance of Line Items 0001, 0002, and 0003 Offered, 3) Meet or Exceed Delivery Schedule, 4) local dealer within the greater Sacramento, CA area, and 5) Price. Technical and past performance, when combined, are equal to price.
