Description
This is a combined CBD/Synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items will be utilized for this acquisition. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is HSCG40-06-Q-20415. This announcement constitutes the solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-06. Quotes are being requested and a package for quote submission is available as an electronic attachment. The NAICS for this combined synopsis/solicitation is 334511 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. The U.S. Coast Guard ELC has a requirement for the following: 1.) NSN 5825-01-471-0269, Transceiver, VHF-FM, Part number DSC-500PRO-M (0WF67) ONLY, Quantity 60 each. Alternate part numbers are not accepted. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY!! Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Bldg. 88, Baltimore, Maryland 21226. Delivery is desired within 60 days or sooner, REQUIRED within 90 days. It is intended that the Coast Guard ELC will obtain pricing directly from the original equipment manufacturer, L-3 Communications, Inc., Sarasota, FL 34232-6414. Quotation shall include unit price, proposed delivery in days (after receipt of order), your company Tax ID number and DUNS Number. Each item to be individually packaged in accordance with MIL-STD 2073 1D, Method 41, Code GX (including electrostatic and electromagnetic protection) and individually marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129. Bar Coding is required. The following FAR Clauses and Provisions apply to this solicitation. Offerors may obtain full text versions of these clauses and provisions electronically at http://www.arnet.gov/far. Offerors are instructed to include a completed copy of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Provision 52.212-3, "Offerors Representations and Certification--Commercial Items (MAR 2005)" with their quotation. FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items (JAN 2005). The following addenda are added to 52.212-1: (1) Paragraph (b) -- SF 1449 is provided as an electronic attachment for offerors use to submit a Quotation package.
