Description

--This is a presolicitation notice-- Offutt AFB requires the following service(s): Packing and Crating. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform packing and crating of household goods in all points and places within the Iowa counties (Area III) of Adair, Audubon, Adams, Cass, Clarke, Dallas, Decatur, Guthrie, Madison, Polk, Ringgold, Story, Taylor, Union, & Warren. This service includes but is not limited to packing of household goods for intra-city and intra-area services as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW). A request for proposal will be issued on or about 1 June 2006. The proposed contract shall have a twelve-Month basic period, starting 01 Oct 2006 through 30 Sep 2007, plus four, one-year options. Award of the contract will be made to the responsive, responsible offeror whose proposal offers the best value to the Government. Upon issue, the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the Internet at the Electronic Posting System (EPS) website, which is at the following address: http://www.eps.gov. Contractors are required to complete Central Contractor Registration prior to award of any Government contract. Additional information on registration is available at CCR website address: http://www.ccr.gov.
