Description
The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract and will utilize procedures under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall provide Technical Bulk Refrigerated Liquid Nitrogen, Type II, Class I, Grade B as required by the Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana, Virginia Beach, VA. The contractor shall provide and deliver Nitrogen as required on a bi-weekly delivery schedule (every other Wednesday is preferred) to top off two (2) Government owned bulk Nitrogen Tanks with a capacity of 2000 gallons each. Estimated minimum delivery is 1500 gallons per delivery). The contractor shall furnish appropriate connections for tie-in with the Government owned bulk gas tanks (system). FOB point is destination. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 325120. The resulting contract will be for the base period of 01 July 2006 ? 30 June 2007, with four one-year options. This requirement is a follow-on to N00189-01-P-1251 awarded to National Welders Supply Co. Inc., 810 Gesco Street, Charlotte, NC 28208. A complete RFQ package is available by downloading the documents at the Neco Website as follows: http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
