- ********************************************************************************************************************** This synopsis is revised as follows: the anticipated posting date is 31 May 06 with an anticipated closing of 23 Jun 06 *********************************************************************************************************************** Fleet Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound, in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, has a requirement for one 400 ton horizontal hydraulic press. The press will be used for forming irregular and structural steel shapes and steel plate material. Complete specifications for the system will be included in the solicitation. Place of delivery will be Puget Sound Naval Shipyard 1400 Farragut Avenue Bremerton WA 98314-5001. The solicitation will be issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside using commercial procedures IAW FAR Part 12 and 15. The anticipated contract type of award may be of the firm, fixed price Supply type. The solicitation will be issued on or about 17 Apr 2006 and close on or about 01 May 2006. When issued, the RFP will be electronically posted via the NECO website at www.neco.navy.mil. Offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP package and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments. No telephone or fax request for the RFQ will be accepted. An email request to janet.m.baker@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO website. This office will maintain no bidders list. No paper copies of the RFP/Amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.
