- NAICS Code 238160. Project: Replace Roof, J.C. O'Mahoney Federal Building, Cheyenne, Wyoming. Project No.: RWY06791. Scope of Work: The project includes, but may not be limited to the following features: Demolish existing built-up roofing systems (four different roof levels), install new SBS Membrane roofing systems (four different roof levels), temporarily remove existing rooftop equipment and roof top antenna's and re-install and install secondary roof drainage systems. The Prime Contractor or Subcontractor installing the work shall meet the following pre-qualifications: (1). The contractor must have been in business for at least five years. (2). The contractor must provide evidence that they have been an installer of the SBS Membrane System for at least five years. 3). The contractor must provide documentation to verify performance of three projects similar in nature to this project. This acquisition is being solicited as Request for Proposal (RFP) and is set aside for competition restricted to service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns. All interested eligible parties are encouraged to submit a proposal. The estimated construction cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The Solicitation Issue Date will be on or about 02/15/06. The date of Receipt of Proposals will be on or about 03/17/06. The date for the Site Visit and/or Pre-Proposal Conference will be on or about 02/22/06. Award is expected to take place on or about 04/01/06. Construction start date is expected to be one day after receipt of Notice to Proceed with completion NLT 120 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. All responsible sources will be considered. All requests must include the Solicitation No. and project title annotated above; the offeror's full company name, mailing address, phone number, fax number, and point of contact. Only written requests will be honored. In addition, a non-disclosure form will need to be completed prior to GSA forwarding the drawings to the contractor. All requests must be received by COB 03/03/06, unless the solicitation date is extended. MODIFICATION: The date of Receipt of Proposals is extended to 04/12/2006 NLT 10:00 AM. Award is expected to take place on or about 04/28/2006. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (10-MAR-2006).
