- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, streamlined procedures for evaluation and solicitation for commercial items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation F1N3BA6087A100, is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 336214 and the small business size is 500 employees. This is advertised as 100% small business set-aside. To provide the following EQUIPMENT or equivelent: Provide all labor, tools, parts, materials, and transportation necessary to provide 1 each fire prevention public education trailer in accordance with the attached specifications and options: (1) 2330-Trailer: 2006 SCOTTY Fire Safety House. Part Number: HD-35BleacherFLT. Trailer has a built in Home Décor Series (HD) Exterior with vinyl siding, mansard roofline and shutters on single-hung windows. Dimensions: 35’L x 8’W x 11’-11”H; Qty 1 each. (2) 2330-Generator: Honda generator. Part Number: EM6500SX. Generator installed on hitch compartment with 12 volt blower fan, Qty 1 each. (3) 2330-Awning: Part Number: 8x24. Deluxe Roll-out Awning (8x24 with center rafter), Qty 1 each. (4) 2330-Jack. Part Number: 001. Electric Leveling Jacks with auxillary battery, Qty 1 each. (5) 2330-Graphics. Part Number: 002. Exterior Graphics. The graphics will also include the words “Fire & Emergency Services,” “Columbus AFB,” and include a graphic design of the fire department patch. This will be on both sides of the trailer, Qty 1 each. (6) 2330-Delivery. Part Number: 003. Delivery includes freight, Qty 1 each. Contact Johnny Crawford at (662) 434-7761 or johnny.crawford@columbus.af.mil. FOB: Destination for delivery is Columbus AFB, MS. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 and 252.232-7009. CCR can be accessed at www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. The CCR registration must be completed before award can be made. All offers should be faxed or emailed to the attention of Johnny Crawford, Contract Administrator, at 662-434-7753. Furthermore, please contract the above to receive copies of the specifications for the trailer. Oral quotes will not be accepted. The due date for all quotes is 23 May 2006 by 4:30 p.m. CDT. Offerors shall be registered and complete the Offerors Representations and Certifications on the Online Representation & Certification Application (ORCA) homepage at www.bpn.gov/orca prior to award being able to be made. In addition the clause at 52.212-5; Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (DEV) applies to this solicitation.
