Description
The Federal Bureau of Prison, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue a solicitation RFQ51002-002-06 for the provision of Test Administrator services for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) La Tuna and the Federal Satellite Low (FSL) La Tuna located in Anthony, Texas. The contractor shall provide Test Administrator services for the inmate population in a correctional setting. The Test Administrator shall possess the following qualifications: A). a Baccalaureate degree. B). a certified (or eligible for certification) Alternate Chief Examiner, as certified by the General Educational Development Testing Service C). documented testing experience D). past correctional experience is preferred, but not required. The contractor shall be responsible for providing proof of education and credentials pertaining to their profession. All documentation to support education and experience must be provided at the time of quote. The contractor shall be responsible for the provision of Test Administrator services which includes: A). administration and scoring of, but not limited to, Practice General Education Development (GED), General Education Development (GED), Spanish Assessment of Basic Education (SABE), Adult Basic Learning Examination (ABLE), and Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment System (CASAS). B). record-keeping duties It is estimated the contract will include 30 one (1) hour sessions per week. A session is defined as one (1) hour in duration. The contract period shall consist of one 12-month base year and four 12-month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. The estimated quantities for the base and each option year are 1500 one hour session. The solicitation will be available on or about June 01, 2006 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. Any contractor interest in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must register at www.ccr.gov and http://www.orcca.bpn.gov. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is 2:00 pm CT June 23, 2006, however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to the solicitation (1449-Block #08) for the actual date quotations are due. All responsible small business concerns may submit a timely quote (by mail ONLY) which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
