- Description
- This is a sole source combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items (non-personal services) issued by the 97th Contracting Squadron, Altus AFB, Oklahoma. This document was prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented and in accordance with FAR FAC 2005-09, April 19, 2006 with additional information included in this notice. The United States Air Force intends to issue a sole-source purchase order under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures for a product that is provided by Public Health Equipment and Supply Company. The proposed contract action is for supplies and/or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Public Health Equipment and Supply Company under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within five business days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Public Health Equipment and Supply is uniquely qualified to provide the required product. The product can only be obtained through a distributor authorized by the manufacturer to sell this product in the state of Oklahoma. Public Health Equipment and Supply is the only authorized distributor for this product in the state of Oklahoma. This is not a Request for Quotation, nor is it an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Requests for copies of a solicitation hereto will not be honored or acknowledged. All timely responses will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not it is advantageous to the Government to conduct a competitive procurement; no award will be made on the basis of any response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This electronic solicitation is the only solicitation being issued. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation Number is F1B3H16108A100. The NAICS code 424690 applies to this solicitation. The size standard is 500 employees. The item description is as follows: Provide 40 cases each of 2, 2.5 gallon containers of ready to use synthetic pyrethroid, (Sumithrin; Phenothrin; 3-Phenoxybenzyl 2-dimethyl-3-(methylpropenyl)cyclopropanecarboxylate; Cyclopropanecarboxylic acid, 2,2-dimethyl-3-(2-methylpropenyl)-, m-phenoxybenzyl ester) to control the adult mosquito population on Altus AFB.
