Description

The United States Air Force (USAF) intends to award a sole source, commercial, firm- fixed price contract (with options) to Varian, Inc. This requirement is to provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to include preventive maintenance, calibration, and emergency repairs of the BIO RAD FTS 165 FTIR Spectrometer IAW the Statement of Work. Market research shows Varian, Inc. is the only source that can satisfy the Government's requirements. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334516 and the size standard is 500. All responsible sources may submit a response, which if timely received, will be considered. This notice is posted for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. Any company that feels they have the capability to meet the needs of the Government must submit their technical data (2 pages or less) to support their claim. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice.
