Description

This is a notice of intent to award on a sole source basis under Simplified Acquistion Procedures to Letort View Community Center of Carlisle Barracks, PA to provide catering services for the National Security Seminar for the period 5-9 June 2006. Letort View Community Center is the only source that can provide the service for customer requirments for force protection and locality to meet time lines of the Seminar. Carlisle Barrack's current security provides necessary force protection for disting uished visitors and prevent and potential incidents. This is neither a request for quotations nor an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determina tion not to compete this procurement based on a response to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received by May 26, 2006. If no affirmative written responses are received by the due date indicating that a comparable source exists, an order will be placed with Letort View Community Center for the requirement stated above.
