Description

This requirement is for a five year Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract for a minimum Quantity of 25 each and a maximum Quantity of 300 each Aviation Vibration Analyzer (AVA) Software Enhancement 7.01 Retrofit Kits. This is a commercial item and does not have an assigned NSN. Delivery date is 30 days after contract or issuance of delivery order. This acquisition is restricted to Smiths Aerospace, CAGE CODE 35012, 14200 Roosevelt Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33762. Sole source is justified bec ause Smiths Aerospace is the designer, developer, and manufacturer of the AVA and holds all proprietary rights to technical data, drawings, and production processes required to support and produce the AVA, to complete depot support, and to upgrade existing software. The Government does not have sufficient technical data to support full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or abou t 25 May 2006, with proposals due by 13 June 2006. Contract award is estimated by 30 June 2006. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
