- The US Coast Guard, MLCA, Naval Engineering Division has a requirement to support and maintain the Propulsion and Non Propulsion Systems aboard USCGC MACKINAW (WLBB 30) The propulsion and non propulsion system was manufactured by ABB. ABB holds a unique capability as the only source with the required technical background to troubleshoot and repair the ABB Azipods. The Azipods are a major part of this system. The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking capable companies the can provide ABB parts to repair the propulsion system aboard USCGC MACKINAW.
