- The Department of Veterans Affairs has a requirement for Hotel Accommodations and Hotel services located in the geographic area of Louisville, Kentucky. (CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD AT 545 S. 3RD STREET. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefit Administration, Office of Employee Development and Training will be participating in the Challenge 2006-3 Training conference. The breakdown for hotel accommodations are as follows; Wednesday, 6/7/2006 (3), Thursday, 6/8/2006 (3), Friday, 6/9/2006 (3), Saturday, 6/10/2006 (3), Sunday, 6/11/2006 (21), Monday, 6/12/2006 (21), Tuesday, 6/13/2006 (21), Wednesday, 6/14/2006 (21), Thursday, 6/15/2006 (21), Friday, 6/16/2006 (21), Saturday, 6/17/2006 (21), Sunday, 6/18-2006 (21), Monday, 06/19/2006 (21), Tuesday, 6/20/2006 (21), Wednesday, 6/21/2006 (21), Thursday, 6/22/2006 (21), Friday, 6/23/2006 (21), Saturday, 6/24/2006 (21), Sunday, 6/25/2006 (21), Monday, 6/26/2006 (21), Tuesday, 6/27/2006 (21), Wednesday, 6/28/2006 (21), Thursday, 6/292006 (21), and Friday, 6/30/2006 check out. Based on the breakdown described, the total rooms requested are 411 each instructor: 3 X 23=69 and participants: 18 X 19=342, total 411). All rooms must be individual /private sleeping rooms with toilet facilities smoke free and at government per diem rate for Kentucky. PAYMENTS FOR ROOMS SHALL BE PAID VIA PURCHASE ORDER. Additional requirements for the hotel suites are within 6 blocks of the training site (VARO Louisville), laundry service on site, Internet access in hotel, separate living work and sleeping areas, exercise facility on site, restaurants on site or within 8 blocks of hotel, complimentary hot breakfast, business service (fax, copy, print), fully equipped kitchen, disabilities act compliant, and no penalty for rooms not used. The specific instructions contained herein are intended to serve as guideline for the preparation of the quotation. In developing the quotation, the Contractor shall comply with the requirements stated in the description. THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO AWARD WITHOUT DISCUSSIONS. Therefore, each contractor is urged to examine this request for quote in its entirety and to ensure that their quote contains all necessary information, provides all required documentation, and is complete in all aspects.
